The creation of a Veterans Cricket Club from existing tenanted sporting clubs based out of the East Burwood Reserve and from other veterans sporting bodies.
Create opportunities where the Eastern Dragons Cricket Club is a hub for players wishing to play not only weekend cricket and midweek cricket, but also interstate and international cricket.
Help Veterans Cricket Victoria transition into the East Burwood Reserve facility as its permanent home base.
Help council by maximising the usage of the facilities. This includes introducing midweek veterans cricket matches (O60s & O70s Tuesday & O55s Wednesday).
Create a culture where the Eastern Dragons Cricket Club becomes a premium sporting body, for both men and women, in eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Create an equal opportunity environment where both men and women are comfortable with both the facilities and the culture.
